John Edwards recently came out with his education plan. It contains some interesting stuff, but nothing that really shakes up the establishment or changes how we think about learning. Except for... the SWAT Teams! Yes - the NY Times reports that Edwards wants to use "education SWAT teams" to reform our schools! Believe it or not, I actually wrote a treatment for a TV show on this same concept called "Extreme School Makeover" (yeah - real creative - thx), but Edwards has taken it to a whole new level by adding an elite squadron of education terminators! Awesome. Sign me up.
